Cold wave maintains its grip in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Jan 6 (UNI) Cold wave due to snowfall in the upper reaches of Himalayas continued to lash the state with the temperature in its only hill station of Mount Abu reaching freezing point.
The weather remained volatile with some minor flactutations in temperature at some places.
According to the weather office the minimum temperature in the state capital of Jaipur rose to 8 from 7 degree Celsius while Pilani in Jhunjhunu district recorded 3, Churu 4, Barmer 6, Udaipur and Jaislamer 7, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Dholpur 8, Bikaneer, Kota and Ajmer 9, Sawai Madhopur and Jodhpur 10, Bundi 11 and Rawatbhata 13 degree Celsius.
According to the weather office the weather by and large will remain dry for the next 48 hours.
