Blasts in Doldoli creates panic

Diphu, Jan 6 (UNI) A blast was reported from Doldoli, 10 kms from here, in Asom's Karbianlong district, early today.

The city, was preparing for the polls to elect its autonomous council members.

The blast occurred at around 0110 hours near a bridge.

However, no casualty or damage to the brigde was reported.

The area is a Dimasa Halomg Daoga (DHD) dominated area and the blast sent shock waves across the area.

Police investigations are on.
