Bharat Gaurav award for Karra

Jammu, Jan 6: Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Finance, Planning, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Tariq Hameed Karra has been conferred the prestigious Bharat Gaurav award by the India International Friendship Society (IIFS).

The award will be presented to him by the Union Minister of State for Planning M V Rajasekharan at a function in New Delhi on January 8, a release said.

Mr Karra, LLb from the Kashmir University, was entrusted with vital Finance, Planning&Development and Law and Parliamentary Affairs Departments in the council of ministers headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad.
