BC employees demand quota in promotions

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh BC Employees Association at a meeting here today demanded reservation in promotion through the introduction of a bill in Parliament.

In his address, BC Welfare Association President R Krishnaiah claimed though the Indian Constitution was amended 104 times, not once any change was aimed at furthering the interests of the BCs.

Mr Krishniah said the BC Welfare Association would organise a state-level conference to highlight their demand.
