Arrack shop gutted in fire

Puducherry, Jan 6 (UNI) An arrack shop was gutted in a fire at Nallavadu near here in the wee hours today.

Fire service sources said electrical short circuit was the main cause when the mishap occurred.

The damage was estimated at around Rs 20,000. Fire tenders from Bahour doused the fire.
