Toyota launches limited edition Innova

Bangalore, Jan 5 (UNI) Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced the release of the first limited edition of Innova, launched less than two years ago in India.

The limited edition Innova is available in two new colour variants - Simpson red and Warm Silver the Company said in a release here today. The limited edition would have 1000 vehicles and would be available during the next three months.

Exciting features have been added both in the interiors and exteriors to further enhance the versatility, comfort and safety that the Innova has come to be associated with.

Innova was Toyota's three-row passenger car, which within a short period has made a niche for itself by offering the luxury of a sedan with the performance of an MPV. Toyota has sold over 68463 Innovas since its launch and it has captured 31 per cent market share in the MPV segment.

Announcing the launch of the limited edition Innova, Mr. Atsushi Toyoshima, Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, ''It is our endeavor to constantly upgrade our products. Innova is a proven success in India and offers excellent interior space, comfort and safety. The limited edition Innova is aimed at further delighting our customers''.

Superior interiors of the limited edition were designed to offer excellent space and luxury and came with power windows and door locks. Innova interiors were now plusher with luxurious seats and insulators that reduce noise, vibrations and harshness, new fabric seats, door trims and fabric floor mats.

The limited edition was powered by a 2.5 litre D - 4D Diesel engine that delivers 102PS.
