Noida killers brought to FSL for narco tests
Gandhinagar, Jan 5 (UNI) Noida's alleged serial killers Moninder Singh Pandher and Surender Koli were brought here today at Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for psychological tests.
The duo was accompanied by a police team led by Dinesh Yadav Deputy Superintendent of Police, Noida.
Speaking to mediapersons at the FSL office here, he said they had requested the officials here to conduct three main tests on the accused which were narco-analysis, lie-detector and brain mapping in order to bridge the missing gaps.
''The tests are part of the investigations,'' Mr Yadav said.
Asked about the possibility of a link to organ trade, the DSP said, ''The police is probing all aspects of the case and hence every angle will be taken into consideration.'' On why the accused were brought here for tests, FSL Director J M Vyas noted the laboratory was number one in the country and its Psychology Department was declared National Resource Centre by the Indian government.
''The laboratory has various facilities in narco-analysis, psychological profiling, lie-detection among others of international standards,'' the Director said.
All cases of national importance, including that of Jessica Lall and Anara Gupta, were brought here.
