Mercury level dips in Manipur

Imphal, Jan 5 (UNI) Manipur experienced severe cold as the mercury took a dip to 4.4 degrees Celsius here today.

The MET officials said the minimum temperature was about 4.4 degree Celcius while the maximum was 22.3 degree Celcius.

The sky was clear and no rainfal was recorded. In the morning the humidity was about 84 per cent while in the afternoon it dropped to 57 per cent, MET sources said.
