Lalu in Aurangabad tomorrow

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 5 (UNI) Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad will embark on a visit here tomorrow.

The Railway Minister will arrive here by a special train from Kopargaon (Ahmednagar), after visiting the famous pilgrimage centre Shirdi, an official release said here today.

The stylish Rashtriya Janada Dal (RJD) leader will guide the youths, including students of various colleges in the city, at a programme organised by 'Yuva Manch,' of the Lokmat Group, as part of the week-long celebrations to mark the Silver Jubilee of leading Marathi Daily Lokmat.

The Railway Minister will also participate in the rally to be taken out in his honour from Kranti Chowk to Paithan Gate, sources from the Lokmat Group said.

Meanwhile, a special cleanliness drive has been taken up at the Aurangabad railway station ahead of the visit of the Railway Minister.

The Railway Ministry had made an announcement of converting the Aurangabad Railway station into a model railway station during the tenure of the then Railway Minister Nitish Kumar. However, so far nothing has been done by the Ministry yet.
