Kalyan Singh turns 74

Lucknow, Jan 5 (UNI) BJP vice-president and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Kalyan Singh turned 74 today.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Gujarat Chief minister Narendra Modi were among the dignitaries who wished Mr Singh on his birthday.

BJP activists made a beeline to greet the former UP CM on his birthday in an apparent bid to acknowledge his importance as a political associate in the coming assembly elections in the state.
