JD(U) demands dismissal of Koda govt

Dumka, Jan 5 (UNI) The JD(U) today demanded dismissal of the Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand and holding fresh assembly election in state.

Talking to reporters here party's state vice president Krishnanad Mishra alleged that the UPA backed government here failed to implement developmental schemes across the state.

He said about 40 per cent of the development fund was 'misused' adding a CBI inquiry into the matter would be demanded to the governor.

Terming separate tenancy acts for different regions to be the main hurdle in development of the state, the JD(U) leader also demanded to formulate a single tenancy act in the state.

Mr Mishra said special provision should be made to preserve the tribal lands besides non-tribals should also sale and purchase land in the areas.
