Hooch claims 3 lives in UP

Agra, Jan 5 (UNI) Three middle-aged labourers died after consuming country liquor in Kagarol area here late last night, police today said.

According to reports, five labourers had fallen ill soon after consuming hooch last night.

Two of them identified as Bhulia (44) and Phoolan (52) died in the night itself, Deewan Singh (54) succumbed in the hospital this morning.

The condition of two others continues to be critical.

Meanwhile, the vendor of the country liquor had been arrested.
