Govt should reveal person behind release of Nithari killers:BJP

Lucknow, Jan 5 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) vice-president and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Kalyan Singh today demanded disclosure of the names of the industrialist and politicians behind release of the alleged Nithari killers in the past.

''Not ordering a CBI probe by the Mulayam Singh Yadav government proves that the government was trying to save these persons,'' he said.

Talking to mediapersons on the occasion of his 74th birthday here, Mr Singh said the Chief Minister should not delay ordering a CBI probe into the Nithari killings and personally visit the spot to pacify the agitating family members of the victims.

Terming the incident as serious, he said though the state government has taken some action against the police personnel, a thorough investigation by an agency like CBI could find out more about their nexus.

The act of the Mulayam government certainly smells of a sinister plan in the case as neither the name of the industrialist nor the politician have been made public so far who had helped free Mohinder, the prime accused in the case, from the police custody.
