Bombay Dyeing launches 'Urban Living' collection

Mumbai, Jan 5 (UNI) Bombay Dyeing, a leading bed and bath brand, launched a new collection called ''Urban Living'' through an innovative theatrical event, highlighting the various facets of an urban individual's state of mind, by actress-cum-model Perizad Zorabian.

The collection, priced at Rs 2,495 onwards for the bedsheet sets, will be available across 450 exclusive Bombay Dyeing outlets across the country.

Speaking at the launch function here today, Company executive director S K Gupta said, ''The collection, with 18 new designs, is a tribute to Mumbai drawing inspiration from modern art, old building motifs, leaves fallen on footpaths or parks, carvings of heritage structures, art galleries of the city, amongst others.'' One of the themes, Mr Gupta said, is ''Acquatica'' that has derived inspiration from the serene sea that brings about a balance to the sprawling pressure-filled cacophony of the urban jungle.

Replying to a question, Mr Gupta said the new Collection is also produced from the new plant set up at Ranjangaon in Pune which became operational from December last. Bombay Dyeing recently shifted its Worli mills operations to Pune and the property of the same is being developed for retailing activities, he informed.
