All projects will be in final stage in two years

Hyderabad, Jan 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said all projects including irrigation projects taken up by the state governmnet would be in the final stage within two years.

He said the government was committed to construct 25 lakh houses every year under the INDIRAMMA Scheme for the poor and irrigate additional 12 lakh acres. Ten lakh more pensions would be given every year.

Dr Reddy today met the AICC General Secretary and in charge of Andhra Affairs Digvijay Singh, who was here to partcipate in the PCC brain storming session and discussed various matters. The government was committed to provide free power supply to farmers till their economic conditions improved.

He said the people had confidence in the government and its welfare measures.

He expressed the hope that the government would be able to generate employment opportunities for five lakh people in the state and provide houses to all the poor people by 2009.
