30 injured in a bus accident

Basirhat, Jan 5 (UNI) At least 30 passengers, including two children, were injured seriously in a bus accident near Chaital bridge at Ghusighat under Minakhan police station in North 24 Parganas today.

Police said the accident occurred when the bus rammed into a road side house.

''We suspect that the driver might have lost his control,'' the police officials added.

Five passengers, who were seriously injured, were rushed to a nearby Minakhan hospital.

The bus driver is absconding since the accident and a case has been registered against him, the police added UNI
