12 people arrested in Aizawl

Aizawl, Jan 5 (UNI) At least 12 people were arrested in connection with the death of a 30-year-old man yesterday here, police said today.

The victim, Jesse Lalnunpia, was allegedly beaten up day before yesterday and succumbed to his injuries at a civil hospital here last night.

According to police, the incident was triggered when a 61-year-old woman was hit by a speeding bike driven by the man.
