Truck attacked near Mogadishu, several wounded

Mogadishu, Jan 4: Militiamen fired a rocket at an oil tanker truck near Mogadishu today, wounding several people in the first major attack since government forces took the Somali capital last week, a government source said.

''The militiamen wanted to extort money from the tanker (crew),'' said a government source. ''They hit it with an anti-aircraft rocket. Several people have been wounded.''
