Work in MP courts crippled due to staff strike

Bhopal, Jan 2 (UNI) Work in all courts in Madhya Pradesh remained paralysed today as the class three and four employees observed casual leave enmasse demanding compensation for extra duty hours.

The employees will remain on strike tomorrow also, said Madhya Pradesh Judicial Employees Association's district president Neeraj Shrivastava.

In the state capital, the court employees staged demonstration at the district court premises.

In a recent order, the High Court curtailed holidays and raised working hours of the courts.
