Western disturbances cause fluctuation in temperature

Jaipur, Jan 2(UNI) Cloud formation due to western disturbances has led to fluctuations in the temperature in Rajasthan.

In the plains Pilani was the coldest place with the temperature dropping to 3 degree celsius.

In state capital Jaipur, the minimum temperature rose to 8 degrees Celsius after remaining constant at 5.6 degrees for the last three days. In Churu the temperature dropped to 4 degrees from 7 while in Udaipur the minimum temperature rose to 10, an increase of two degree celsius.

According to weatherman due to western disturbances the temperature is likely to fluctuate in some places. In cloudy areas the temperature is likely to drop a few degrees while where there is sun shine the temperature may record some spurt.

The minimum temperature recorded in major cities. Ganganagar 5, Bikaner 7, Jaisalmer and Bharatpur 9, Barmer 8, Jodhpur and Bundi 12, Ajmer, Jhalawar and Kota 13, and Rawatbhata recorded 15 degree celius.
