Unidentified body found in Tapi

Surat, Jan 2 (UNI) The dead body of an unidentified man was today recovered from the Tapi river, near Panch Pandav temple, in Ashvini Kumar Road here.

Surat Fire Brigade took out the body from the river and sent it to civic-run SMIMER Hospital here for post-mortem, police said.

The man was apparently in the age group of 30 to 35.

A case has been registered by the Katargam police station, sources added.
