Steel Strips Wheels Apr-Dec production: Sales up

New Delhi, Jan 2: Steel Strips Wheels Ltd, a dominant player in the niche market segment of wheel rims for automotives, today posted a 25 per cent growth in the sales and production of wheel rims for the period between April-December 2006 as compared to figures during the corresponding period last year.

The company sold 32.69 lakh units during April-December 2006, as compared to 26.16 lakh units previous year.

The production of wheel rims stood at 32.64 lakh units in April-December 2006 as against 26.12 lakh units in April-December 2005.
