Siddaramaiah demands action against JD(S) party workers

Mysore, Jan 2 (UNI) Congress legislator S Siddaramaiah today alleged that the City police had failed to take any action against the Janata Dal(Secular) workers who indulged allegedly in malpractices and violence during campaign for the byelection to Chamundeshwari Assembly seat held on December Four.

In a written complaint submitted to the City Police Commissioner Praveen Sood, the former Deputy Chief Minister alleged that the police had booked cases only against Congress party workers and left the JD(S) workers scot free. He also met the Superintendent of Police S Murgan with a similar complaint.
