RJD lambasts NDA government

Darbhanga, Jan 2 (UNI) Bihar RJD today alleged that Nitish government failed to provide succour to the poor in winter as its promises of making arrangements for 'bonfire' at community places in rural and urban areas remained only on papers.

Talking to newspersons here, state RJD president Abdul Bari Siddiqui demanded that state government should take steps for distribution of blankets among the poor.

''Bihar continues to reel under a spell of cold wave but insensitivity of the NDA government in taking preventive measures to tackle the situation is deplorable,'' he added.

RJD government used to make arrangements for bonfire and ensured distribution of blankets among the poor during winter, he claimed.
