Rihon Daimary sworn-in as Cabinet minister

Guwahati, Jan 2 (UNI) Asom Minister of state for Public Health Engineering Rihon Daimary was today sworn in as a Cabinet minister.

The oath of secrecy was administered by Governor Lt Gen.(Retd) Ajai Singha at a function in the Raj Bhawan.

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, several ministers and other dignitaries and high officials attended the function.

Mr Daimary was the lone minister of state in the Gogoi-ministry.

He is among the three MLAs of Congress coalition partner Bodoland People's Progressive Front (Hagrama) to be inducted in the Gogoi ministry.
