Rain delays start of New Zealand v Sri Lanka one-dayer
SYDNEY, Jan 2 (Reuters) Morning rain delayed the start of Tuesday's third limited-overs international between New Zealand and Sri Lanka in Christchurch.
New Zealand had won the toss and elected to bat first but the start was delayed for 45 minutes while groundstaff dried the playing surface.
The series is tied at 1-1 after Sri Lanka won the first match by seven wickets in Napier and New Zealand replied with a thrilling one-wicket victory in Queenstown on Sunday.
