Railways and Kerala advance in Sr Women Handball

Kolkata, Jan 2 (UNI) Champions Railways and strong contenders Kerala were on winning spree when they defeated Chandigarh 22-6 and West Bengal 21-3 respectively in the 35th Sr National Handball Championship for Women here today.

Kerala in other league match in Pool B drubbed Tamil Nadu 23-1 inw hich L Remya scored nine points for the winners.

For Railways J Anita scored eight points in 22-6 win over Chandigarh in Pool A.

Chandigardh defeated Karnata 17-12 in Pool B, Punjab beat Nagaland 21-1 in Pool C, Chhattisgarh beat MP 22-4 in Pool D, Haryana beat J&K 19-6 in Pool a, Maharastra ebat Tamil nadu 15-0 in Pool B, Rajasthan beat Jharkhand 11-10 in Pool D, Punjab beat AP 21-7, Karnataka ebqt Uttarachanl 17-4, Maharastra beat HP 28-6 Gujarat beat Nagaland 4-3 and manipur ebat UP 20-5.

UNI
