Post department creates separate postal division for Rajouri

Jammu, Jan 2 (UNI) In order to meet the aspirations of the people of Rajouri and Poonch districts, a separate Rajouri Postal Division, headed by Superintendent post offices, was been created today with its headquarters at Rajouri.

Simultaneously, Rajouri mukhya dak ghar has also been upgraded into Rajouri head office.

The objective of a separate division is to create a better postal network in the area, uplift the tribal and backward people of the remote area besides providing better avenues of employment to the residents, the release added.
