Petrol pumps in Jharkhand go on agitation against marker test

Ranchi, Jan 2 (UNI) Protesting the testing method of adultration of petroleum products, the pump owners today said they would not lift petroleum pruducts from the depot until their stocks exhausted.

Jharkhand Petroleum Dealers Association today said that they had demanded to ensure the availbality of marker kit with the proper training to the petrol pump employees.

They had also demanded to appoint any local agency for testing which would conduct the test at regular interval adding the test would be conducted during unloading of petroleum.

Till now the test was being conducted by a private agency.
