One killed, nine injured as compound wall collapses

Karunagapally, Kollam, Jan 2 (UNI) One person was killed and nine others injured, two of them seriously, when a compound wall collapsed on them while digging for a drainage at Pokkode near here today.

The deceased was identified as Thilakarajan (36), hailing from Panikkar Kadavu in the district, police said.

While the seriously injured Sasi (45) and Mohan (40) were admitted to Alappuzha Medical College Hospital, the others were admitted to Karunagapally Taluk Hospital, police added.
