Narco test on accused to find truth in serial killing case: Home Sec
Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Jan 2 (UNI) Narco analysis test on the two accused of the Nithari village serial killings, would be done on January 5 in Ahmedabad, even as police today declined to rule out the 'organ trade angle' in the crime saying investigations were on taking into account all possibilities.
State Home Secretary A K Sinha said to further enhance the inputs into the investigations, narco analysis test on both the accused would be conducted in Ahmedabad on Friday.
''All possible angles are being looked into while conducting investigations and strict action would be taken against all those found guilty,'' he told the media after his visit to the 'killer house' this afternoon.
The role of the police was also being investigated and responsibility being fixed, he said.
Ruling out any organ trade angle ''so far'', the Home Secretary said, ''We are looking into the inputs which were being gathered from all sides, including that of the doctors' and experts. Right now, nothing can be said on that front. Every other story is mere speculation.'' Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Ambrish Chandra Sharma said the chemicals and liquid seized from the house of accused Mohinder Singh were being examined for their 'usage' in the killing of the victims.
''We are here on a fact-finding mission to check out the lapses that led to the killings over a two-year period.'' Assuring of ''strict action'' against those found guilty, the ADG said right now with inputs still coming from various sources, nothing could be said for certain.
''Even the neighbours did not have a hint what all went into the house next door. They said they did not smell anything foul despite the dumping being done right at their backyard.'' The two-member committee comprising Mr Sinha and Mr Sharma, are here as part of a high-level delegation to inquire into the killing.
The two member team would hand over its 'report to the state government within three days.
