Murugesan quits Secretary post, party membership

Puducherry, Jan 2 (UNI) Puducherry Jayalalitha Peravai Secretary Ananda Murugesan today quit his post and also primary membership of the AIADMK.

In a letter to party supremo Jayalalitha, a copy of which was released to the press here, Mr Murugesan said the functioning of party observers deputed by the high command hurt him'. He was quitting his position as well as primary membership of the party, he added.

Puducherry Anna Trade Union Secretary P M Iyyanaar also quit the party for the same reason.
