More than 20 children taken ill after consuming poisonous seeds

Jabalpur, Jan 2 (UNI) More than 20 children were admitted to hospital after consuming castor-oil seeds while playing cricket at Kanchghar area in this district.

Two teams were playing cricket at the Jhanda Chowk field yesterday. During a break, 24 children consumed castor-oil seeds from nearby plants.

When the condition of children started deteriorating by evening, their family members admitted them to hospital.
