Manipur weather cold

Imphal, Jan 2 (UNI) Manipur was reeling under cold as the mercury plummeted to five degree Celsius here today.

MET officials said while the maximum temperature was 23 degree Celcius, the minimum plunged to five degree Celcius.

Humidity was as high as 92 per cent in the morning while it was 70 per cent last evening. However, no rainfall was recorded, MET officials said.
