Man-daughter injured in Ardh Kumbh Mela fire mishap

Allahabad, Jan 2 (UNI) A man and his teenaged daughter were injured after a raging inferno broke out at a pandal in the Ardh Kumbh Mela area here.

According to police, Ram Milan Shukla and his daughter Priya (12) sustained burn injuries, after a major fire broke out in Swami Vivekanand Camp (Mumuksha Math) at Dandibada Nagar of the mela area.

However, the fire fighters reached the spot and extinguished the fire. The injured were rushed to hospital, when their condition was stated to be serious.
