Major road projects to be completed by 2009: Charak
Jammu, Jan 2 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir minister for roads and buildings, Gulchain Singh Charak today said that all the important road projects would be completed by end 2009.
Talking to mediapersons at Ismailpur and Prithipora in Bishnah area, he said the Congress led coalition government was committed to provide all basic amenities to the people, and added that various projects under the road connectivity programme have been completed in the state.
The minister announced the work on road from Prithipora to Dak Bungalow Miran Sahib will be taken up shortly at an estimated cost of Rs 25.35 lakh, addressing a long pending demand of scores of villages.
