Junior National Volleyball tourney in AP begins Jan 13

Hyderabad, Jan 2 (UNI) About 800 boys and girls will take part in the 33rd Junior National Volleyball Championship which starts at Vijayawada on January 13.

Efforts were on to conduct the one-week event successfully with the organising committee hall was inaugurated by Vijaywada MP L Raja Gopal one month prior to the event and the Championship brochure was unveiled by Arjuna Awardee and Asian Games 2006 Gold medalist in Chess Koneru Humpy. And efforts were on to install flood lights at the volleyball courts in the Indira Gandhi Municipal stadium.
