SEOUL, Jan 2 (Reuters) Hyundai Motor Co. , South Korea's top auto maker, said it had targeted 2.735 million vehicle sales in 2007, up 9.4 percent from 2.501 million last year.

Hyundai said on Tuesday it had set its 2007 revenue target at 42 trillion won ($45.2 billion), up 13.5 percent from 2006.

Kia Motors Corp. , Hyundai's affiliate and the country's No.2 auto maker, said it aimed to sell 1.54 million vehicles, with revenue of 22 trillion won, in 2007.
