Honda Siel sales rises 45 pc in Apr-Dec period

New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Honda Siel Cars India today registered growth of 45.13 per cent in cumulative sales by selling 43,299 units during April-December 2006 as compared to 29,834 units during the same period last year.

During the period, the company sold 29,527 units of Honda City model, 10,813 of Honda Civic, 1,714 cars of Honda Accord model, 1,245 of Honda CRV model.

The sales figures for the month of December saw a minor decline year-on-year by selling 4,105 units. The figures as against 4,111 units last year.

The third generation Honda CR-V, launched in late November 2006, has made more than 500 bookings, a company statement said.
