Five-day-week for Jharkhand government

Ranchi, Jan 2 (UNI) The new working schedule for the Jharkhand government with five working days a week with came into effect from today.

Joint Secretary of personnel department Premchand Verma told UNI that all government establishments henceforth will remain open from 1000hrs to 1800hrs with a half-an-hour recess between 1330 to 1400 hrs.

Mr Verma said henceforth all Saturdays and Sundays would be holidays for government offices.
