Dr Chandra Pal new Secretary of Ministry of SSI and ARI

New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Dr Chandra Pal, a 1972 Batch IAS Officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, has taken over as the Secretary, Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries (SSI&ARI).

Earlier, he was Principal Advisor in the Planning Commission.

Dr Pal succeeded Mr Anupam Dasgupta, who retired on superannuation.

Dr Pal held many responsible positions before joining the Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries.
