Devastating fire destroys a commercial godown

Agartala, Jan 2: A devastating fire that broke out in a godown yesterday at Badharghat near here occurred due to a short circuit, fire service sources today said.

It took out about five hours for three fire tenderers to bring the fire under control, fire service sources said.

However, the amount of property loss have not been ascertained yet as no concerned authorities could be contacted so far, they said.

Police have reached the spot and investigation was on.
