DaimlerChrysler YOY sales up by 11 pc

New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) Registering 11 per cent growth in its vehicle sales, DaimlerChrysler India said it has sold 2,121 units in the country from January-December 2006.

The company's sales growth rate has doubled in comparison to last year's 5.7 per cent a statement said.

During the period, the company has also netted the highest-ever sales for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, E-Class and C-Class cars in teh country.

''Keeping in view the customer expectations, DaimlerChrysler has continuously widened the product portfolio of its Mercedes-Benz brand offerings for the Indian market,'' company's CEO and Managing Director Wilfried G Aulbur said.
