Andhra Bank revises NRE rates

Hyderabad, Jan 2 (UNI) Andhra Bank today revised interest rates on Non-Resident (External) Rupee Accounts (NRE Account) Term Deposits.

The interest rates offered on NRE term deposits for one year and above but less than two years has been increased from 6.24 per cent per annum to 6.33 per cent.

Deposits with tenures of two years and above but less than three years will now carry 6.16 per cent as against six per cent.

For tenures of three years and above, the deposits will carry 5.91 to 6.08 per cent interest, a bank release said here today.

The revised interest rates were applicable to all fresh deposits and renewals of existing deposits with effect from today.
