ABG Shipyard secures Rs 45cr Gujarat Ambuja order

New Delhi, Jan 2 (UNI) ABG Shipyard Ltd today secured a 9.90 million dollars order from Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd (GACL) for construction of a self-loading and unloading vessel of 4,000 DWT Bulk Cements Carrier.

This will be the company's eight vessel built for GACL. GACL currently owns seven vessels, all built by the company.

The 97 metre long vessel needs to be delivered by June 30, 2008.

With the order of about Rs 45 crore, the aggregate of the orders in hand with the company will amount to nearly Rs 2,445 crore.

The company has globally delivered vessels to Lys Line, Norway and is currently building two vessels for ESL, Finland, valued at around Rs 270 crore.
