Two Kidnapped in Dholpur

Dholpur, Jan 1 (UNI) Two people were kidnapped from Rajakheda tehsil in Dholpur district of Rajasthan by dacoits last night.

According to police sources Chaman Singh and Attar Singh of Kachiyara village went to the Campal river on tractor along with seven labouers to load sand illegally from the Champal river last night. however, they were sourrounded by armed dacoits and taken to Murena village in Madhya Pradesh border. The daciots later set the labouers free but tractor drivers were still in their custody.

District police superintendent Prabal Kumar said the police suspect the kidnapping as the handiwork of Jagjeevan Parihar gang.

He said a joint operation by the Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan police have been launched to nab the gangers.
