Nagaland: Muslim community celebrate Id-ul-Zuha

Kohima, Jan 1: The Muslim community of Nagaland along today celebrated their sacred festival Id-Ul-Zuha with great enthusiam.

The main function was held at the Assam Rifles Ground here where over eight thousand followers of Islamism congregated from various parts of the state.

People in large numbers offered 'Namaz', which was administered by the 'Pesh Imam' of the Jami Masjid here.

People greeted and hugged each other and exchanged sweets and other food materials.

Reports received from Dimapur said over ten thousand devotees offered their Eid prayers and exchanged greetings.
