Muslims in Punjab burn Bush's effigy

Phagwara, Jan 1 (UNI) Hundreds of Muslims gathered here today and burnt the effigy of US President George Bush to protest the execution of deposed Iraqi President Saddam Hussain.

They held the demonstration under the banners of All India Ahrar Congress and Hazmat Dawete Islamia Committee, raising slogans against the United States at local Gol chowk.
