International seminar on statistics in Kochi

Kochi, Jan 1 (UNI) The four-day International Seminar on Statistics, Probability and Related Areas would begin from tomorrow here.

According to an official release today, the seminar organised by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in collaboration with International Indian Statistical Association (IISA) would assess recent developments in the field of statistics and probability.

The seminar would also discuss future directions in theory, practice and education, and would be a platform to foster international exchange of ideas on the subject.

Around 300 delgates including 150 from abroad would participate in the event, the release added.
