HZL increases zinc and lead prices

Mumbai, Jan 1 (UNI) The country's top zinc producer, Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) has cut zinc prices by Rs 3,200 (dollar equivalent of USD 72) a tonne to Rs 2,21,500 effective from December 30, 2006.

In a statement issued today, HZL said it had increased lead prices by Rs 1,500 per tonne to Rs 86,300 per tonne.
